This site does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. The only data stored is:
- A single
cookie_consentkey in localStorage, set to "accepted" or "rejected" when you respond to the cookie banner. This value is stored in your browser only and is never transmitted to a server. - Standard web server access logs (IP address, request path, user-agent, timestamp) retained for up to 14 days for security purposes. These logs are not processed for analytics and are not shared with third parties.
Contact Form
If you submit the contact form on this site, the following data is transmitted to info@fieldnote.eu and stored in the receiving email account: name, phone number (if provided), email address, and message content. This data is used only to respond to your submission and is not shared with third parties. It is retained for up to 12 months and then deleted.
Legal Basis
Processing of contact form data is based on your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)) provided by submitting the form. Processing of server access logs is based on legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)) in maintaining the security and correct operation of the site.
Third-Party Content
Images on this site are loaded directly from Wikimedia Commons servers (upload.wikimedia.org). When your browser requests these images, your IP address is transmitted to Wikimedia Foundation servers. The Wikimedia Foundation privacy policy applies to these requests: foundation.wikimedia.org/wiki/Policy:Privacy_policy.
The site loads a font stylesheet from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com). When your browser requests this stylesheet, your IP address and browser information are transmitted to Google. Google's privacy policy applies: policies.google.com/privacy.
